Brighouse and Rastrick are delighted to have been back at the weekend with their first concert since the beginning of lockdown.

The concert supported by the DCMS was conducted by Stig Maersk and performed to a limited audience of the band’s patrons.

The concert was broadcast live from our ‘home’ in Brighouse Methodist Church and reached a worldwide audience, a first for a UK based Brass Band.

Overy 5,000 people viewed this in faraway places such as New Zealand, Australia, China, Japan, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, and the United States.

Broadcast to local care homes and Youth Bands, we hope this has produced some solace, support and motivation at a trying time for us all.
