Eb Bass - Dave Hebb

Dave Hebb hails from Mossley and began playing cornet aged 13 in the Mossley Hollins School Band. He joined the Mossley Band on Solo Euphonium in 1981 and played for a number of Saddleworth Bands during the 1980s and early 1990s on both euphonium and Eb bass, before joining the Brighouse & Rastrick Band for the first time in 1995. Dave was part of the historic Triple Championship victory of the All England Masters, National and European titles in 1998.

Dave has played with a number of Bands such as Hepworth, Milnrow, Grimethorpe and Carlton Main Frickley, but returned ‘home’ to B&R in June 2018.
