Tuned Percussion – Tom Hall

Tom Hall was introduced to percussion through his school wind orchestra at age 14, immediately taking a liking to it’s unique instrumental variety. Since then he has become an accomplished soloist, being a percussion finalist in BBC Young Musician 2018 and placing 2nd at the International Young Percussionist 2018 in London. He was also a finalist in the National Rotary Young Musician of the Year 2017, Winner of Shropshire Young Musician of the Year, The Dr. McClure Soloist Award and a featured soloist at Notre Dame Cathedral.

Debuting at the BBC Proms in 2018 playing with the BBC Concert Orchestra, he now studies at the Royal Northern College of Music under Director Simone Rebello, hoping to pursue a career as a professional percussionist. Tom was delighted to join Brighouse & Rastrick upon commencing his studies in 2018.
