The Brighouse & Rastrick Band is about far more than the performances audiences see on stage.

Behind every rehearsal, concert, contest and community engagement is a dedicated community of musicians, volunteers, supporters, patrons, families and friends who help make everything we do possible. Together, they form Team Purple – a community united by a shared passion for the Brighouse & Rastrick Band, its heritage and its future.
At the heart of Team Purple is a dedicated team of Support Volunteers whose contribution can be felt across every aspect of Band life. From preserving our history and maintaining our archives to supporting events, managing merchandise and helping create new opportunities, their commitment and countless hours behind the scenes are fundamental to the day-to-day life of the Brighouse & Rastrick Band.
Their dedication allows our musicians to focus on performing at the highest level whilst ensuring rehearsals, concerts, contests and community activities continue to run smoothly. Quite simply, the Brighouse & Rastrick Band would not be the organisation it is today without the passion, commitment and generosity of its Support Volunteers.
